今天乃是六一儿童节 It's International Children's Day today

而由于签证问题暂时无法开始实习 And because of visa delay I can't start my internship currently

于是和FB及另两个小朋友继续出游！As a result I went for a trip with FB and the other 2 friends

这次的目的地是大屿山和大澳 The destination this time is: Lantau Island and Tai O

大屿山的象征：号称全球最大的铜铸天坛大佛 The symbol of Lantau Island: Biggest Bronze Buddha Statue in the world

许是以前佛像见的太多了 For I have seen too many great buddha statues in the past

看到这尊大佛无甚感觉 I think there is just nothing special with this one

倒是后面的晴空和流云 However, the clear sky and floating clouds

给佛像增添了几分出世之感 Added some halo to him

感觉任何在中国本土化的宗教 I feel that every of the localized religions in China

总是会带上或多或少的功利性 Can never avoid becoming more or less utility

也就是说 信徒总是会心有所求 Or rather the believers will always in request for something

从而弱化了信仰的纯洁性 Hence decrease the purity of his belief

就如同这一支香和缱绻的烟灰 Look at the buring incense for the buddha

到底是为了敬佛还是求佛？Is it for the purpose of showing respect or expressing desire?

大澳人家自晒的咸鱼 Home made salty fish in Tai O

鱼的头部都用纸包着 With head wrapped by paper

回来查了一下 After searching on the Internet

原因是鱼眼不易干 I found out that it's because fish eyes would not dry easily

不包起的话容易惹苍蝇 So they will attract flies if not wrapped up

这貌似是一个牌坊的雏形 This seems to be a prototype of a memorial archway

其实这样的话该是比建起来更有感觉 Actually this semi product should be more artistic than the finished version

许多时候 In many situations

美感就是毁于画蛇添足 Beauty is destroyed by adding things unnecessary

你能猜到这是搁浅的小船么 Can you figure out that this is actually a stranded little boat

终于拍到一张基本满意的绿叶 Finally I shot a satisfactory piece of leaf

构图仿照一张苹果的桌面 Composition of the photo is inspired by an Apple wallpaper

不过貌似色彩还是不够均匀 But the colour doesn't seem to spread equal enough

也缺少通透感 Neither the transparency is good enough

下次还是找一片被阳光照射的叶子比较好 Next time I'd better find a leaf exposed in sunshine

没有含义 With no meaning

只是觉得这样看起来很舒服 I just think the composition looks comfortable

如果这是监牢的窗户 If this is the windows of a prison

那牢里关的一定是最十恶不赦的犯人 The criminal in it must be an extremely vicious devil

连铁窗里面都还要用木板隔起来 For even inside of the iron fence is curtained off by wood

影子进不去 The shadows can't get in

眼睛出不来 The eyesight can't get out

路的尽头空荡荡的码头 The empty dock at the end of the road

最神奇的是旁边有一条小路上到秘密军营 However the most exciting part lies in the secret military site nearby

据说里面还有直升飞机场 It is said that there is even a helicopter field in it
